About Us

Your first visit to physical therapy can be initiated either by a referral from your doctor or you may seek physical therapy on your own via direct access. The therapists at Physical Therapy Center of Chesapeake are direct access certified and this allows us to provide treatment directly to you with out a referral from your doctor.

On you initial visit you will receive a physical examination/evaluation of your specific condition. Following your initial evaluation we will prepare a treatment plan specifically designed for your needs. A report will be generated for your doctor so they are kept informed of your status. Typically, at the end of your treatment you will be discharged with a home plan of care.
